Using Recycled PET in our Bottles
The increase in plastic production contributes to waste and pollution, posing a threat to our oceans and wildlife. As a PET Bottle Company, we are committed to addressing the plastic crisis and supporting Coca-Cola’s sustainable packaging initiatives. By 2035, these goals aim to have 30% to 35% recycled plastic content in our bottles, while continuing efforts to collect and recycle plastic bottles worldwide. We are proud to align with Coca-Cola’s vision and are already taking action, as all of our packaging is 100% recyclable.
Reducing Our Carbon Footprint
We’re on a path to achieving zero solid waste to landfill, and we’ve reached a 28% reduction in CO2 emissions over the previous five years.
Making a Sustainable Choice
PET packaging is ideal because it preserves what’s inside the container best due to its lightweight shatter resistance and ability to incorporate post-consumer recycled content. It also uses less energy and creates fewer greenhouse gases than common packaging alternatives like glass and aluminum. Because it is 100% recyclable and can be used repeatedly, with virtually no deterioration in performance, PET never has to become landfill waste. As members of The National Association for PET Container Resources (NAPCOR), we help protect PET packaging and overcome hurdles to its use and recycling.
