Teri Tracy

Career:

Teri Tracy, Director of Finance, joined SEC in 2013 as Senior Accountant and transitioned to Senior Financial Analyst in 2014. During this time, Teri was responsible for developing the annual budget as well as streamlining and automating month end close processes. In 2020, Teri served as Director of Manufacturing Services, working in the areas of production planning, logistics and supply chain before transitioning to Director of Finance in 2022. Teri became SEC’s Chief Financial Officer in 2024. Prior to joining SEC, Teri spent 8 years in public accounting specializing in corporate tax.

Education:

Teri earned her BS in Computer Science from College of Charleston in 2000 and went on to earn her degree in Accounting from UNC Asheville in 2007. Teri obtained her CPA license in 2008 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and the National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives. She is also a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt.

Social/Community:

Teri is active in her local community and is a longtime supporter of the United Way among various other charities.

Personal:

Teri has been married over 20 years to her husband Nariah. She is the proud mother to two children, Molly and Rye. Teri enjoys outdoor activities including running, swimming, mountain biking, hiking and camping. She also loves to spend time at home with her family.
