Eric Wright

Career:
Eric Wright, Director of Quality at SEC, began his career with the company in 1995 as a Palletizer. Over the years, Eric has held a variety of roles that reflect his versatility and commitment to excellence. In 1997, he transitioned to the Accounting Department as an Accounting Clerk. Two years later, he joined the Corporate Lab as a Lab Technician, where he deepened his expertise in quality assurance. His leadership potential was recognized in 2004 when he was promoted to Corporate Quality Assurance Lab Manager. In 2017, Eric advanced to his current role as Corporate Quality Improvement Manager, where he continued to drive quality initiatives across the organization. In 2025, Eric was named the Director of Quality. Prior to joining SEC, Eric served for eight years as Food Service Director at a hospital, bringing valuable experience in operations and customer service to his role at SEC.
Education:
Eric earned his BS in Business Management as well as a Master of Management and Leadership from Montreat College. Additionally, he completed coursework within the MBA program at Western Carolina University to further expand his academic credentials. Beyond his formal education, Eric is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, underscoring his dedication to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Personal:
Eric is a native of the Asheville, NC area. He is a husband and a father of 2 kids. He is a huge fan of classic muscle cars and a sports fanatic. He also has a passion for mentoring youth, traveling, and learning new skills. Eric also enjoys spending time with his large circle of family and friends.
