Bill Bock

Career:

Bill Bock joined SEC in 2006 as the General Manager of the Beloit, Wisconsin Plant. Bill served 9 years in the US Air Force working as a maintenance technician in the Titan II and Minuteman II ICBM systems located in Wichita, Kansas and Great Falls, Montana. Prior to joining SEC, Bill worked for several Tier 1 automotive suppliers including MTD Products, Lear Corporation and TI Automotive. In these organizations, Bill held various assignments including Plant Engineer, Operations Manager and Plant Engineering Manager. After 9/11 Bill joined the US Army Reserves and was assigned to a Combat Heavy Battalion and spent 2005 in Iraq upgrading Forward Operating Bases and providing security for convoys moving throughout the Iraqi Theater of Operations. In 2006 Bill had the pleasure of starting up the Beloit Wisconsin facility and has managed several of the SEC plants over the past 16 years.

Education:

Bill earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer information Systems from Kansas Newman College in 1987 and a Masters of Industrial Technology Degree with a specialization in Manufacturing from Bowling Green State University in 1997.

Social/Community:

Bill is active in the local community, supporting food drives, Chamber of Commerce and veteran activities. Bill was a member of the University of Wisconsin S.T.E.M advisory committee. In the years during the Iraq/Afghanistan wars Bill rode with the Patriot Guard Riders escorting those who paid the ultimate sacrifice to their final resting place.  

Personal:

Born in Ohio and raised on a small farm, Bill worked on a dairy farm throughout high school milking cows before and after school and on weekends. Bill has been married for 41 years to his wife Ramona, a Nurse Practitioner, and they have three children: a son who served in the US Army Special Forces, a daughter who graduated from St Francis College and works in Rockford Illinois and a daughter who graduated from Northern Illinois and works in Indianapolis, IN. Bill is a fan of the New Orleans Saints, St. Louis Cardinals and enjoys golfing and playing softball.
