Adam Brunella

Director of Manufacturing (Operations)

Career:

After graduating college in 2011, Adam E. Brunella began his career at Southeastern Container in the Bowling Green, OH facility, where he spent seven years working with the maintenance team developing automated processes, replacing production lines, and overhauling the utility room. He was promoted to Plant Engineer in 2015 before joining the corporate engineering team in 2018 as Engineering Services Manager, leading blow mold engineering efforts, installing new production lines, and identifying emerging PET technologies. In 2020, he became Product Development and Engineering Services Manager, and in 2024, Director of Engineering, expanding his leadership across innovation and engineering initiatives. In 2026, Adam was promoted to Director of Manufacturing (Operations).

Education:

Adam earned a BS in Electrical Engineering as well as a BS in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Toledo. During his time at Toledo, he interned with Plastic Technologies, Inc., where he worked throughout his undergraduate education. He then went on to receive his Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in business analytics from the University of Tennessee. His love for learning also had him complete a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the University of Michigan.

Personal/Social/Community:

Adam grew up in a Michigan bedroom community just North of Toledo, Ohio. He wanted to make a difference in his community so he joined the fire department just after high school. He went on to serve for 5 years, retiring as an honorary member. This experience cemented the values of hard work and dedication, not only to his career but also to his friends and family. Adam and his wife Amy, an elementary school teacher, are proud parents to 4 children – Charlie, Bodie, Paige, and Oliver. As a family they enjoy spending time in Northern Michigan, hiking in Asheville, and being on the water
