Tommy Ledford

Winchester Plant Manager

Career:

Since joining Southeastern Container in 1986 as a Maintenance Technician in Enka, North Carolina, Tommy has held several positions within the company. In 1991, Tommy relocated to Winchester, Virginia for the first time as a Maintenance Manager. In 1995, Tommy joined the Effingham, Illinois plant as a Plant Engineer. Returning to Winchester in 1997, Tommy was the Project Engineer and then the Operations Manager in 1998. Continuing his growth with the company, Tommy moved to Orlando, Florida as General Manager in 2010. Making his last move back to Winchester in 2015, Tommy has held the positions of Blow Molding Operations Manager, Injection/Blow Molding Operations Manager (2017) and as of 2020, General Manager.

Education:

Tommy spent two years at Haywood Community College in Electrical Systems Technology as well as two years at Lord Fairfax Community College in Electronic Engineering Technology.

Social/Community:

Tommy is active in the United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley and the Chamber Of Commerce.

Personal:

Tommy was born in Waynesville, North Carolina. He and his wife Diana have been married for 43 years and have two adult children; Jason Ledford and Amy Chapman both in Winchester, Virginia. Tommy is a proud grandfather of his 5 grandchildren; Jodi Chapman and Hayden Chapman; Jackson Ledford, Cody Ledford, and Lucy Ledford. When Tommy is not working at the plant, he is enjoying his time with his grandchildren and riding ATVs in the mountains.
